Kiew - about 400 trolleybuses in service

One of the best ways to see the huge trolleybus system of Kiew with it`s more than 400 trolleybuses in service is to take a ride on the trolleybus ring around the city - about 35 km long. There is no trolleybusline working all the circle, so You have to change and the chance to see many trolleybuses of one of the biggest systems in Europe.

At the city side terminus of trolleybus line 1 there meet LAZ 1913 from 2007 and articulated 1120 from 2002



Two trolleybuses built in 2002 meet on line 46 (4223) and 46K(short working with 4227) on the left bank of river Dnepr



Deliverd in 2000, trolleybus 520 is on it`s way on line 27 - part of the trolleybus ring



SKODA 14 Tr 273 - one of the oldest in stock, built in 1985 - on line 23. SKODAS are working mostly on the western and sothern parts of the city



The low floor 3701 was deliverd to Kiew system in 2005 - here on line 22



SKODA 14 Tr - built in 1988 - had a general overhaul, as most of the SKODA`s have, now on it`s way on line 27



In the meantime a rare sight in Kiew - SKODA 15Tr 494, built in 1995 as a last batch from the Czech republic - here on line 23



SKODA 15Tr 479 - at least in remarkable condition - at the city sinde terminus of line 23



1921: The last type of high floor articulated trolleybuses - delivered between 1996 and 2007 - here 1128 from 2003 working line 12 on the left bank.
