Marianske Lazne/Marinbad 120 years of electric public transport

On 14th and 15th May 2022 Marianske Lazne/Marienbad celebrated 120 years of electric public transport as well as 70 years of trolleybus operation. It is a little sort of miracle that there is electric public transport in form
of a smart little trolleybus system still in operation because in the last 20 years there were always activities to close this trolleybus system. But this famous spa resort remembers it`s tradition and therefor could celebrate
the history of tram as well as trolleybus since 1902 and looking into the future with a modern trolleybus fleet of 8 SKODA 30Tr built in 2020 and serving at the moment 2 lines (6 and 7).

On 14th and 15th May 2022 there was a line "H" in operation , working between Antonickuv pramen/Antonius Quelle and City as line 3 did before the pandemie. Line "H" was operated by two historic trolleybuses from
Plzen/Pilsen - SKODA 9Tr 323 built in 1979 and 14Tr 429 built in 1989. Both typs were once typical for the system of Marianske Lazne/Marienbad and it would be a great idear to opereate historic trolleybuses during the summer spa season regulary, because line "H" was a great sucess always with happy passengers on board of the historic trolleybuses.

Since the pandemic line 3 and 5 are not in operation - instead of them a line 7 works, covering almost the whole system from Antonickuv pramen via Nadrazi to Chebska and further on tot he city center and turning via
Goethova nam.. Line 6 operates the interurban branch to Klimentov as used.

Herzlichen Dank an Gunter Mackinger für das Verfassen dieser zahlreichen Fotoberichte, einfach ein Genuß, die schönen Bilder zu betrachten, alles zählt genau zu meinem Hobbyinteresse, etliches davon war mir bisher unbekannt, obwohl ich verschiedene Zeitschriften dazu abonniert habe und Internetforen beobachte. Genauso herzlichen Dank auch an Karl für den Zeitaufwand, die angesammelten Beiträge in dieses Forum einzustellen!
Ob mich ein Fahrzeug wirklich begeistert messe ich daran, ob bei mir der Wunsch aufkommt, ein Modell davon zu besitzen. Und da zeigt sich immer wieder, daß ich Nostalgiker bin: meine Favoriten aus den aktuellen Mackinger-Beiträgen sind die historischen Obusse Skoda 9Tr und 14Tr, solche habe ich schon lange in 1:87 in der Sammlung. Die modernen gelben Obusse wären allerdings auch sehr willkommen, gefallen mir wirklich gut.
Sehr ansprechend fand ich auch die historischen französischen Dieseltriebwagen, einen Picasso in 1:87 habe ich schon seit 35 Jahren. Bei diesem frage ich mich, wie es der Triebwagenführer sicherstellen konnte, nach einem Halt in einem Bahnhof ohne Ausfahrsignale nicht versehentlich in der falschen Richtung loszufahren.
Bei dem sonstigen modernen Rollmaterial meldete sich kein Habenwollen. Ich nehme gerne zur Kenntnis, was es alles interessantes gibt, aber dann ist es auch gut. Mein Sammlungsschwerpunkt liegt sowieso auf dem deutschsprachigen Raum, da sind noch so viele Wünsche offen, so daß ich außerfriesische Bereiche nur beispielhaft darstelle anhand von Modellen, die mir besonders gut gefallen. Ein Modell des Translohr-Fahrzeugs wie in Clermont-Ferrand würde sicher dazugehören, ich finde dessen Design sehr gelungen im Gegensatz zu seinen Fahreigenschaften.
